Laura Ransom is new to Central Florida but not to baking. Her family recently moved from Northern Virginia to Central Florida where she left behind her baking business of 10 years. She started baking because of the low quality and lack of options offered in stores. Because of this, she has built Confections Cakes & Cupcakes on everything made from scratch and the ability for her customers to fully customize each order of cakes and cupcakes.
Whether cupcakes for a fun dinner party dessert or a once in a lifetime wedding cake, she wants to provide the same personal service and homemade quality. She has completed training through The Wilton School of Cake Decorating and Confectionary Art and she has seen the cake and cupcake market transform over the past 10 years.
